Austrian gaming group Novomatic bought Casino Riviera in Portoroz, along the Slovenian coast. Novomatic currently operates nine of 26 licensed casinos in Slovenia. The price of the deal was not disclosed. Novomatic, through the company Novo Investicije, purchased Casino Princess in Nova Gorica in June. The company’s portfolio also includes the Kongo casino near Grosuplje and the Lev casino in Ljubljana. Novomatic, one of the largest gaming technology companies in the world, is active in more than 50 countries and employs about 30,000 people.
