A number of 29,342 building permits for residential buildings were issued in the first seven months of the year, up 33.4 percent compared to the same period last year, according to data from National Institute of Statistics.
According to the INS, in July 2021, 4,891 building permits were issued for residential buildings, decreasing by 0.2 percent compared to June 2021 and increasing by 18.9 percent, compared to July 2020. Out of the total permits of construction for residential buildings, 69.6 percent are for rural areas.
