Nupharo secured financing from Equa bank to build a technology and innovation center in the Ústecký region in North Bohemia. Nupharo also received EU funds for the campus. Works on the project started in 2013. Construction will be overseen by Moravostav. The campus could begin trial operations as early as next year.
The first phase will offer 16,000 sqm of commercial space for light production, storage and offices. There will also be a conference facility and a showroom for lease. Next to the business center, the area will offer a restaurant, café, pre-school and fitness center.
Nupharo center will focus on smart energy, direct current and e-mobility. The campus will apply for LEED certification.
