According to unconfirmed news, Zsolt Nyitrai, 35, could become the new chairman of Hungarian Post. A member of parliament, he joined the ruling Fidesz party in 1994, and was appointed campaign director in 2006. He won an electoral mandate in 2002, and has been chairman of the Fidesz working group on Informatics and Telecommunications since 2006. In 2010 he was named secretary of the National Development Ministry and during the Hungarian EU presidency he was the president of the European Council of Ministers of Telecommunications.
