Real estate developer Oasis Retail Development & Consulting has contracted a loan of about EUR 9 million from OTP Bank for the construction of a retail park in the northern part of Sibiu, which will have a total area of 60,000 sqm.
The first stage of the project development will have a rentable commercial space of 9,000 sqm, distributed in 11 retail units, and the financing granted by OTP Bank represents 75 percent of the total investment.
The handing over of the spaces to future tenants will be in August 2021, and the official opening will take place in October 2021. The project will have anchor retailers like Hornbach, Kaufland, a toy and household goods store and two furniture stores, which will be built by the end of 2022.
