Octava FIZAN has finalized its acquisition of 11 office and retail properties through the purchase of 30 entities owned by BPH FIZ Sektora Nieruchomości and BPH FIZ Sektora Nieruchomości 2, both of which are in liquidation. Octava FIZAN was represented by Savills. The cost of the deal was not disclosed. The Polish portfolio, totaling 140,000 sqm, includes Centrum Krakowska 61, Renaissance Tower, Eureka Park, Viking House, Rodan, the Onyx complex, Media Markt in Chorzów and Carrefour in Bolesławiec. Octava FIZAN now holds 19 commercial real estate assets totaling 210,000 sqm of gross leasable area. “It was a very complex process that required large commitment and close cooperation of both sides of the transaction. An important role was played by the financial institutions Aareal Bank, Alior Bank, BZ WBK and Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank,” said Piotr Rymaszewski, president of the management board of Octava Asset Management.
