Odelo Farba, a key Mercedes supplier, has opened a new development center in Sofia, where it will work on projects related to rear lights for automobiles. The products are scheduled to go into mass production two years after the design phase. The center is part of a €40m investment. There are currently 10 engineers working at the factory, with 20 more employees expected to join the team by the end of 2019. Odelo supplies car lights to brands like BMW, Daimler, Audi, VW, Renault and Toyota. It operates plants in Germany, Slovenia, Turkey and China.
