Office leasing activity in Poland slows in Q1

14 May 2019

Office leasing activity hit 140,100 sqm in the first three months of the year. More than 101,000 sqm of the total was transacted under new deals and expansions, according to Cushman & Wakefield. Despite the weak office take-up, down 28.8 percent from the previous year, occupier activity is expected to pick up with tenants finalizing leases at office buildings scheduled for delivery in 2020. In the first quarter of the year, the Warsaw market reported two lease transactions in the coworking sector totaling more than 4,000 sqm: one by New Work at Wola Retro and the other by Spaces at Centrum Marszałkowska.
