Oknoplast achieved PLN 1.72 billion in revenue last year, more than 32% more than a year earlier and 120 million more than originally expected, the company said. The company maintains its course of investing and has almost €25 million worth of projects planned for the coming years.
“Such a good result achieved in difficult market conditions for the industry in 2022 is the result of consistent implementation of the company’s strategy to diversify and flexibly adapt its offer to changing conditions and customer needs. Oknoplast is one of the most recognizable window brands in Europe. This makes us resilient to the difficult geopolitical situation we have been facing for several years. Innovation and courage in action both in Poland and abroad have allowed us not to slow down,” said Oknoplast Group CEO Mikołaj Placek, quoted in the release.
The Group’s good sales results allow it to stay the course of investing, both in infrastructure and in development. Oknoplast systematically allocates 5% of its turnover to the work of the Research and Development department, which constantly researches the market and develops a portfolio of products in response to customer demand, it stressed.
“2023 and the slowdown in the construction industry is another challenge facing the company. However, the Oknoplast Group wants to stay the course and is not stopping development. Among the plans for the coming years are further investments in machinery and production capacity, as well as the continued construction of a production hall of several thousand square meters in Krakow. The estimated cost of the investment over the next few years is expected to be almost €25 million. The company is investing in equipment and expanding production at the factory near Madrid. Oknoplast also plans to steadily increase its market share in Europe and expand into South America and the US.” – it concluded.
