The asking price for the Omega City Business Center, owned by the businessman Dan Adamescu, has been lowered from €14m to €9m. Adamescu was arrested in June and charged with bribing judges to facilitate the insolvency of one of his companies. Piraeus Bank is overseeing the sale of the Omega City Business Center. Located on Unirii Avenue, the Bucharest office building offers 12,146 sqm of space in the city’s Nerva Traian area. Tenants include companies like Astra Asigurari, Romania Libera, Libra Bank, UniCredit and Tiriac Bank. Adamescu was named the second richest Romanian by Top 300 Capital magazine, with a fortune estimated at €900m.
