One United Properties is now planning to develop two towers with 140 exclusive apartments on a 5,600 sqm parcel it purchased on Gara Herastrau street in Bucharest last year. The project will include ground-floor retail and offices on the first floor. The developer had initially wanted to build a luxury hotel and apartments on the land, but changed its plans following the coronavirus crisis. The project will be called One Floreasca Towers.
“It will take a year and a half to design and authorize and another two years to build, so it will be delivered by the end of 2023. Soon we will start an international tender to designate the architecture firm, which will carry out the project. We decided to change it because there are not many investors on the hotel market now, that’s why we will make apartments, anyway this is what we know how to do the best,” said Victor Capitanu, one of the main shareholders of One United Properties.
