Opel to build distribution center in Bochum

Opel plans to develop its distribution center on the Werk II area in Bochum’s Langendreer District. The 95,000 sqm facility should be operational by 2016. The new extension and the modernization of the existing Werk III distribution center will cost €60m. The new investment will be operated by a joint venture of General Motors and US logistics firm Neovia. The company is to create 265 places of work that will go primarily to former Opel employees.
