OPTIX has opened a new research and development center in Panagyurishte, 91 km east of Sofia. The optics components specialist (including military and law enforcement applications) built a 1,000 sqm facility that will create 60 jobs for engineers and traders.
OPTIX JSC Bulgaria was founded in 1998 and produces day sights, thermal surveillance and sighting systems, along with night vision equipment and binoculars. The company has implemented numerous integrated systems for the monitoring and protection of border areas and strategic objects.
