Oracle opens new office in Athens

Oracle opened a new software center at the Oracle Hellas building in Athens. The new center will develop apps and provide customer support. Alfonso di Ianni, senior vice president of the Eastern Central Europe, Middle East and Africa regions at Oracle, said the company open a center in Greece because of the country’s competitive labor pool.

Oracle currently operates five development hubs around the world. In addition to its Athen’s center, which is its biggest, the company also has facilities in the US, the UK, the Netherlands and India.
