Oracle to open a new center in Hungary

17 October 2012

In a move that will increase its regional workforce by 10 percent, Oracle Corporation announced plans to open a new research and development center in Hungary. The American technology giant’s “Applications Lab” will have an international development function, according to Csaba Reményi, managing director of Oracle Hungary. The announcement is in line with the government’s efforts to boost the country’s employment levels, which have taken a heavy hit in recent years and have been recovering only slowly.
