Orange Polska is interested in acquisitions of companies operating in the areas of cybersecurity, big data and artificial intelligence, Julien Ducarroz, CEO, announced.
“I cannot give exact dates because we are not currently working on any transaction, but if there are opportunities, we will be interested in them. We have already said that we are looking at companies in the field of cybersecurity, big data and artificial intelligence,” Ducarroz said during a meeting with European media in London.
“One of these areas is cybersecurity. This market in Poland is very dispersed. For many years, Orange, also at the group level, has been developing competences in this area due to our network and now we need to scale our activities. We see a huge demand for such services from administration and enterprise sites,” added the president.
