Orange Romania clients will now be able to use the MoneyGram cash transfer service, which will allow them to withdraw money in lei or euros. If they are withdrawing money outside the eurozone, the MoneyGram service will allow customers to withdraw cash in the local currency.
Clients can send or receive money from any of the 284,000 MoneyGram locations worldwide or at any Orange Romania branch.
To transfer money, clients do not need to have a bank account or card nor do they need to be Orange customers, according to Radu Pojoga, MoneyGram country manager for Romania and Bulgaria.
