The Orlando Airport Marriott Lakeside hotel has changed hands in a $45.5 million deal. The new owner, Kentucky-based Columbia Sussex Corp., picked up the 486 room asset for a little over $93,620 per room. The purchase is a first for the company in Orlando and its sixth overall in Florida, as Columbia Sussex already owns properties in Clearwater Beach, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Stuart and Tampa. The hotel was bought from an entity related to Maryland-based Diamondrock Hospitality Co.
