Orlando Magic’s plans new HQ in $200m mixed-use complex

7 December 2015

The Orlando Magic has announced plans to break ground on a new $200 million downtown mixed-use entertainment complex by June of next year. The plans call for a 7.82 acre plot on west Church Street to be filled with a 250 room hotel with convention/meeting space, 64,000 square feet of retail space, 100,000 square feet of office space, 250 residential units and a parking garage. The team intends to build the office component first and to relocated its headquarters there. The new building will also accommodate offices for other businesses that the team works with on a regular basis. Once completed, the project would provide the area with much needed office space and hotel accommodations.
