City of Ostrava, in a joint presentation with the Moravian-Silesian Region and the City of Havířov, is to present at the upcoming 26th edition of MIPIM (Cannes, March 10-13) a great potential for a variety of investment activities. The city’s joint exhibition will be organized in partnership with Asental Group, CTP, HB Reavis Group, Multi Development Czech Republic, PRK Partners and Veolia Energie ČR. One of the City´s largest projects on display, Ostrava-Mošnov Industrial Zone, has a new investor: Hyundai Mobis intends to purchase an 18.9 hectare area to develop its project. The investor will make a total investment in Ostrava of approx. EUR 145 mil. (CZK 4.0 billion). Ostrava will also present the latest facts about the Science and Technology Park, including the IT4Innovations Centre of Excellence (IT4I). Plans are afoot to open two new multipurpose buildings with a total area of 5,298 m2 in the Science and Technology Park this year.
