City of Ostrava will present itself as an attractive investment destination at the upcoming 27th edition of MIPIM (Cannes, March 15-18). Its joint presentation on stand No. P-1.D76,P-1.E77 will be organized in partnership with Arch.Design, CTP, Multi Czech Republic, P3 Logistic Parks, PRK Partners, Red Group, Veolia Energie ČR and also with Association for Foreign Investment (AFI). Thanks to the traditional as well as to new co-exhibiting partners the investors will obtain an overall view of the entire region and investment opportunities. With its long-time participation in MIPIM (already the 19th year in a row), the city demonstrates its proactive approach to investors, which has contributed to its high rating by Standard&Poor´s and Moody´s. Besides the Ostrava-Mošnov Industrial Zone with Hyundai Mobis as a new investor, the City is to present the latest facts about the Science and Technology Park, including the IT4Innovations Centre of Excellence (IT4I). The Salomon supercomputer is officially ranked number 40 in the TOP 500 of powerful supercomputers in the world. The Reception for business partners and prospective investors at the City of Ostrava stand is scheduled for Wednesday 16 March at 4 p.m. The Mayor of Ostrava, Tomáš Macura, together with representatives of companies from Ostrava will present ongoing and future investments in the City.
