City of Ostrava, in a joint presentation with the Moravian-Silesian Region and the City of Havířov, will be presented to investors as the logistics gateway to Europe at the upcoming 25th edition of MIPIM (Cannes, March 11-14). In response to the sharp rise in the segment of industrial and logistics properties, Ostrava offers, first and foremost, investment opportunities in the Mošnov Industrial Zone, including a new multimodal logistics centre. Thanks to its location in proximity to an international airport, links to motorways and railway lines and the total area of vacant land, the zone and its adjacent logistics sites are an ideal destination for those investors who intend to operate in the entire CEE region. Further investment opportunities are a Science and Technology Park together with IT4Innovations Centre of Excellence (IT4I), brownfield sites (Karolina, Lower Vítkovice Area, Ostrava-Hrušov Development Area), vacant land suitable for construction as well as strategic projects. With its long-time participation in the fair (already the 17th year in a row), the city demonstrates its proactive approach to investors, which has contributed to its high rating by Standard&Poor´s and Moody´s.
