The City of Ostrava is seeking a co-investor for a centrally located residential project called Nove Lauby. The project calls for the construction of five buildings, two of which the city would keep, while the investor, whose role would be to handle the actual construction, would get the remaining three. Project documentation has been completed and its construction permit application is being processed. The archaeological survey now underway is due for completion by the end of the year so that construction could begin in January 2021. The choice of the investor will be made through a 3-round tender, with the first one consisting of a declaration of interest that must be submitted by August 20. The winner of the tender will buy the project from the city, including the land and project documentation, while signing a pre-sale contract for two of the completed buildings.
