In what’s expected to be the biggest merger on the Polish logistic services market, the Polish capital group OT Logistics is taking over Sealand Logistics, a leading logistics provider of ocean cargo transport. Worth PLN 51m, the preliminary agreement has just been signed, giving the OT Logistics a 100-percent holding in Sealand, which it has until 2019 to pay off. The transaction still needs to be approved by Poland’s antitrust regulator. Ryszard Warzocha, deputy CEO of OT Logistics said the move is in line with the group’s strategy of looking for higher margins by expanding into new sectors.
