OTP increases capital of Serbian branch

Hungary’s biggest bank OTP increased the capital base of its Serbian subsidiary. The Serbian Court of Registration confirmed that it registered a capital increase of more than RSD 4.5bn. OTP Bank currently owns 96.78 percent of OTP Banka Serbija. Last year, OTP carried out several capital increases in order to improve its capital adequacy ratios. Its Romanian subsidiary was given HUF 9.3bn, while its Serbian subsidiary was given €19m and its Montenegrin branch was given €12m.
