The largest Hungarian bank, OTP aims to double its share of Ukraine’s consumer-loan market. OTP has nine subsidiaries in the CEE region.. Tamas Hak-Kovacs, CEO of the Ukrainian unit said that OTP is now focusing on consumer loans, which will be the main strategy for its retail business, though it will also be developing further its services for corporate clients. OTP entered Ukraine in 2006, by buying 100% of Raiffeisenbank Ukraine. The Ukrainian unit has almost 150 branches and employs 4,000 people.
