CTP has pre-leased 15,000 sqm of a new 30,000 sqm warehouse it is building at CTPark Bucharest West to the logistics company OTZ. CTP acquired CTPark Bucharest West from Prologis in the second half of last year. The new warehouse will increase the total area of the park to 130,000 sqm. Construction started in the second half of March and is set for completion in September.
“CTP has noticed a high demand for the remaining 15,000 sqm, and I think we will lease the space before the end of construction,” said Marian Orzu, head of leasing and business development at CTP Romania.
CTP’s portfolio of class A industrial property in Europe has a leasable area of more than 3.25 million sqm. CTP is planning to increase this area to 5 million sqm by the end of 2018.
