An outdoor office space with desks, benches, electronic outlets and WIFI connections has opened in Riegrovy sady park in Vinohrady-Prague 2. The project, created by Pracovna, is available to the public free of charge. Donations from Jobs.cz, Misrosoft and Vodafone, and the crowd-surfing website HitHit.cz are covering the CZK 200,000 project costs. “The idea of working in the park fits perfectly into the trend of expanding freelancing and working remotely. We know a lot of great ideas emerge outside of the office, so we are pleased to support the project,” Jakub Chour, marketing manager at Jobs.cz, told the server praguepost.com. The spot will be available until November, and then the workspace will be moved to an indoor location that has not yet been chosen.
The organizer of the Riegrovy sady workspace, Pracovna, also operates a café and indoor work space in Prague’s Žižkov neighborhood, which it rents out.
