The office area traded in Romania exceeded 200,000 sqm in the first 9 months of the year, of which the net demand (extension of existing spaces, new contracts and pre-leases) represents almost 40%, the rest being relocations and renegotiation of contracts, according to an analysis conducted by real estate consultant JLL. Computer & high-tech companies represent 23.3% of the market, and the IT&C industry rented 17.9% of the total space traded in Romania in the first nine months. The banking and financial sector generated 16.5% of transactions nationwide.
