P3 Logistic Parks – an owner, manager and developer of high-quality logistic properties across Europe – is to execute a fundamental upgrade of its industrial park in Olomouc, Czechia, by equipping it with next-level sustainability features, and new facilities for tasty online shopping.
A photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of up to 410 kWp is to be installed at P3 Olomouc, powered by energy from an array of 850 solar panels on the roof of Hall F. This capacity will be sufficient to power all year round the entire park, which has 6,000 m² of space available for production and storage. In addition, P3 will add electric vehicle chargers powered by the solar energy plant.
Also in Hall F at the park, a bakery has been constructed for the food retailer, Albert. As a result, residents of Olomouc and surrounding areas can order fresh pastries from the P3 park. The hall is the only one in the country from which goods ordered online are distributed to customers by Ahold Delhaize, which operates the Albert supermarket chain and occupies the hall.
Peter Janoši, Managing Director P3 Logistic Parks, Czech Republic and Slovakia, said: “The energy self-sufficiency of our parks is one of our priorities. We are monitoring the increasing demand for sustainable solutions and want to actively respond to it.”
Park P3 Olomouc is located close to the D35 motorway and the road to the city centre. Currently, 6,000 m² of warehouse space and 500 m² of offices are available for rent, which is suitable for logistics, light manufacturing, e-commerce, or as a dispensary or showroom. The diverse range of tenants includes Erreka-plast and V-floors, which have a showroom and a flooring shop in the complex, and the global courier DHL, which occupies a custom-built hall. Raben Logistics has its terminal at the park.
