P3 starts a new park in Žilina

20 June 2012

PointPark Properties (P3) has started construction work on the first phase of a logistic park in Žilina-Strečno, Slovakia in cooperation with Optima Consulting. The first building, scheduled for completion in August 2012, will offer 6,000 sqm of combined office and storage space, to be used by a Korean logistic provider as a car parts distribution center for Kia. “In Slovakia, P3’s long-term strategy is to expand outside of Bratislava, in prime locations such as Trnava, Žilina, Prešov, Košice or other locations preferred by our clients. Due to a shortage of modern warehouse space, we see a great opportunity in the Žilina region. Thanks to a valid building permit, we can offer delivery of another 35,000 sqm of warehouse space at this location within 6 months of signing an agreement with a client,” says Peter Bečár, Managing Director P3 Czech Republic and Slovakia. PointPark Žilina stretches across 90,000 sqm of land and offers potential for construction of 41,000 sqm of warehouse.
