Panattoni building 25,000 sqm on spec near Prague Airport

6 October 2017

Panattoni Europe is building a new speculative warehouse at Panattoni Park Prague Airport II. The first phase will offer 25,000 sqm. The building can be extended to 45,000 sqm to meet the expansion needs of its future tenant, making it the largest warehouse in Prague. The first phase is scheduled for completion in March. Expansion could start five months after a contract is signed with a tenant. Pavel Sovička, head of Panattoni Europe Czech Republic and Slovakia, says that speculative warehouse development is on the rise again, with a majority of the space usually leased by completion. Panattoni Park Prague Airport II is located along the D6 motorway in the direction of Karlovy Vary. The new warehouse is aiming to secure a BREEAM Very Good certificate. Sustainable building is currently trending in the industrial/logistics sector, according to Klára Sobotková of Panattoni, as it is both cost efficient and environmentally friendly.
