Panattoni is planning to build a giant warehouse to replace the former Škoda Ostrov trolleybus manufacturing plant. The new facility will offer 125,000 sqm of logistic and industrial space. Pavel Sovička, head of Panattoni Czech Republic and Slovakia, says the developer will reveal the name of the first tenant, a company already active in the Czech Republic, in Q1 2017. The giant warehouse will establish a new industrial zone in Ostrov, which should create 500 new jobs, writes the server e15. Panattoni has already developed an industrial zone in the nearby city of Cheb in cooperation with the investor Accolade. Tenants there include DHL, BWI Group and Tchibo.
