Panattoni Europe broke ground on a new center for BLG Logistics at the port of Düsseldorf. The BTS project will go up on a 117,000 sqm site in two phases. The first phase will include 32,000 sqm of space in three logistics halls as well as 1,000 sqm of office, social and technical space. Completion is set for the beginning of next year.
“The building and the area around it are exactly what we expect of a modern logistics facility. Moreover, with the good trimodal connection of this location, it also fulfills our requirements regarding infrastructure. For us, this project is a new, further milestone in the excellent co-operation with our customer,” said Andreas Wellbrock, a member of BLG Logistics’ management board.
