The 12th annual CIJ Awards Poland were held at the Westin Hotel in downtown Warsaw on Oct. 30 by CIJ, Central and Eastern Europe’s leading real estate magazine. The CIJ Awards are aimed at developers, their projects and their service providers in the commercial and residential real estate sector. On the basis of online voting by select CIJ readers and a panel of independent judges, Panattoni Europe was named Industrial/Warehouse Developer of the Year.
Panattoni Europe is part of the Panattoni Development Company, one of the largest industrial/warehouse developers in the world, with offices across North America and Europe. Since entering Europe in 2004, Panattoni Europe has developed more than 1.9 million sqm in the CEE region, 1.7 million of which was developed on the Polish market. Panattoni Europe has offices in the Czech Republic, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Poland.
Some of the developer’s most noteworthy projects during the first half of 2013 included the completion of 28,000 sqm at Panattoni Park Mysłowice and the extensions of Panattoni Park Łódź East (8,000 sqm); Panattoni Park Gdańsk (6,600 sqm) and Panattoni Park Kraków (3,500 sqm). Since November 2012, Panattoni Europe has developed 122,000 sqm of new warehouse space. The developer is currently working on five new projects totaling 120,000 sqm.
