Panattoni plays a critical role in Małopolska, having already delivered close to a quarter of a million square metres of space. The rapid growth of Panattoni’s portfolio and the development of its structures has resulted in the need for a new office. The company has leased almost 600 sqm in the W3 building on ul. Wadowicka in Kraków, where a team of 20 people that also serves the Podkarpackie region is to work. The office space has been finished on the basis of a unique design by Panattoni drawn up in collaboration with Massive Design.
The Wadowicka 3 building stands in a strategic location right next to Rondo Matecznego, giving it excellent access with the centre of the city, the Dworzec Główny railway station and Kraków Airport in Balice. Another advantage of the Panattoni office is its view over the old Podgórze district and Wawel Castle.
“For us, the choice of W3 was a natural step in our development. Above all we needed more space, and the new building gives us almost six times more than in our previous office. This will allow for the long-term development Panattoni’s structures in the region. The excellent location and the superb interior will ensure the comfort of our employees. The certificates the building has been awarded also influenced our choice – BREEAM confirms its high environmental standards while FITWEL promotes solutions that benefit employee well-being. Additionally, the new space will make it possible to flexibly adjust the offices to our vision of creating space that relates to local traditions while also showcasing our developments in Małopolska,” explains Marek Dobrzycki, the Managing Director of Panattoni.
Massive Design prepared the Panattoni office concept, which makes numerous references to Kraków’s traditions. The space was designed in collaboration with the tenant who opted for the inclusion of arches reminiscent of Wawel’s arcades. The kitchen, however maintains the style of a traditional Kraków café. Within the office, there is also a room that celebrates the Kraków Summer Jazz Festival, the largest jazz festival in the region that has taken place for almost the last thirty years. There is also no lack of references to the legend of the Wawel dragon.
In the new Panattoni space, guests can get to know the company’s portfolio and also the environmental sustainable solutions used in its industrial and logistics parks. Within the office, a selection of developments from the region are showcased. Guests and employees will also have access to an e-commerce room, which will in a unique manner show the journey of a parcel from its online purchase and its warehouse to its delivery to a parcel locker.
Following Panattoni’s standards, the office has been created with modernity and ecology in mind, taking care to use natural and recycled finishing materials such as natural wood and felt made from recycled PET plastic. Care has also been taken to provide energy- and water-saving solutions.
“Panattoni’s new office is characterised by its exceptional functionality. We have also paid a great deal of attention to implementing solutions that improve the acoustics in the office. It is no secret that the higher the standards we achieve in this regard, the more comfortable it will be for the users of this office,” explains Maciej Sawiński, an architect at Massive Design.
