Panattoni Europe broke ground on a new distribution center in Żory, Upper Silesia. Cargo-Partner Spedycja has already signed a lease on 7,000 sqm. Panattoni Park Żory will include two warehouse halls totaling 80,000 sqm. The facility will be suitable for warehousing and light manufacturing operations. “Panattoni Park Żory is the first modern distribution center in this location, which is already gaining a strategic status,” said Marek Dobrzycki, managing director at Panattoni Europe.“The proximity of the near-border infrastructure and that of the economic zone – Katowice Special Economic Zone/Jastrzębie-Żory Subzone, which is practically next door to the new Panattoni investment – as well as modern urban infrastructure make Żory an excellent base for any undertaking.”
