Panattoni starts new park outside Prague with AEW Logistis

3 November 2015

Panattoni Europe and Logistis, a fund managed by AEW Europe, are developing a new logistics park near Pavlov, a village to the west of Prague. Panattoni Park Prague Airport II will offer six buildings totaling 123,000 sqm of warehouse space. The developer has already started to build a bypass of the village, which is needed before construction can break ground on the first phase. The park will go up next to the Amazon Fulfilment Centre, which was acquired by AEW Europe on behalf of Logistis. Panattoni Park Prague Airport II follows Panattoni Park Prague Airport, which has been fully leased since August.

“The Amazon Fulfilment Center was the first milestone of a larger project of building a high-quality logistics portfolio in the greater Prague area with Panattoni, one of our historical development partners,” said Rémy Vertupier, Logistis’ fund manager at AEW Europe. “Greater Prague is strategically located within European distribution networks, and we see further growth potential for the region and its operators.”
