Furniture manufacturer Parallel-Sevlievo is building a new production facility in Bulgaria. The project is part of its five-year investment plan. Costs are estimated at around €13.8m. The scheme will cover a 50,000 sqm area, 26,500 sqm of which will be for production purposes. The facility will have equipment for cutting and building polyurethane foam. There will be a high-tech warehouse for storage as well as a second fully automated warehouse. The company is also developing an administrative and residential building. Castello Precast is overseeing construction. Completion is scheduled for May 2020. Established in 1995, Parallel-Sevlievo is one of Ikea’s suppliers. The Bulgarian company currently employs 870 people.
