Parilab to expand its Serbia operations

30 January 2019

The Italian company Parilab plans to expand its production capacity in Serbia. At the moment, it employs 400 people in a shoe factory in Alibunar. The work is carried out on five production lines which produce upper footwear components. These are then sent to Italy where the shoes are completed. Only Italian raw materials are used in production. In the spring, work will start on a new 1,200 sqm plant that will enable the production of completed shoes. The company expects to have hired 200 people and to have completed their training in Italy and in Romania.
