Park Inn by Radisson is scheduled to open in Riga in the second half of this year. The hotel will feature 178 guest rooms, a conference center, restaurant and fitness center. When construction started in October 2014, the hotel operator D.N.H. announced that a Hilton Garden Inn would be going up on the Krisjana Valdemara street site. No additional information on why those plans fell through was disclosed. D.N.H. is the franchise partner of the Hilton Garden Inn international hotel chain in Latvia. The first Hilton in the Baltic region is set to open in Tallinn on June 1, according to local news reports.
