An affiliate of New York City-based AION Partners has sold a 234-unit apartment complex in Miami for $22.7 million. The complex, Park Plaza Apartments, located at 17600 N.W. 5th Ave., changed hands for just over $97,000 per unit. The three-story complex was built on an eight-acre site in 1972 and features apartments with between one and three bedrooms, along with a fitness center and club room. The buyer, EB Park Plaza LP, managed by Benny Tenenbaum in Lawrence, New York, secured financing in the amount of $19.3 million from Arbor Commercial Funding to complete the purchase.
