Elena Pasquale is redeveloping a historic Art Deco building between Jungmannova and Vladislavova streets, near Wenceslas Square in Prague 1, into a mixed-use complex called Rosetta Palace with shops, offices and high-end flats. Architect Martin Ibl designed the project, keeping the original Art Deco façade. The investment is expected to run to CZK 300m, due in part due to the complicated statics of the structure that stands on sand subsoil. The project, which will include a passage connecting Vladislavova, Purkyňova and Jungmannova streets, opening a better connection from Vodičkova street to the Národní metro station, is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. Elena Pasquale is the sister of Alessandro Pasquale, head of Karlovarské mineral vody, which bought the Green Point development project near Anděl in Prague 5 last year.
