The automotive supplier Pass opened a new office building in the city of Bijeljina at an event attended by Republika Srpska’s prime minister Radovan Viskovic and mayor Mico Micic. German-based Pass is a major producer of flexible flow tubes used by numerous automobile brands such as BMW and Volvo. Currently, the company employs 550 employees but it’s planning to increase this figure to 1,000. The local majority owner Rado Maletic told journalists that a new 11,000 sqm plant had also been opened, expanding its total production and office space to 16,000 sqm. Pass is reportedly planning to move portions of its production capacity from Poland and Germany, where it employs around 3,500 people.
