Passerinvest Group has bought the headquarters of the General Directorate of Roads and Motorways (ŘSD) in Kačerov, Prague, from entrepreneur Simona Otavová. Through the acquisition, it has thus expanded its real estate portfolio near the Brumlovka complex, which is a key project of Passerinvest in the metropolis. The company announced this in a press release today. Neither party disclosed the amount for the transaction. According to the new owner and the ŘSD, the change should not affect the operation of the state organization.
“At a time of volatile inflation and interest rates, we have accelerated our strategy of expanding investments in key properties in and around Brumlovka. it further expands the possibilities of effective use of our real estate management department,” said Eduard Forejt from the Passerinvest Group.
The new owner has not yet decided on future plans for the use of the building in Čerčanská Street; according to Kristýna Samková, a spokesperson, they will depend mainly on the market situation and the potential needs of the current user of the building, ie ŘSD.
According to Samková, the transaction should not affect the operation of the RSD in any way. “Given the nature of the transaction, ie the purchase of a 100% shareholding in the company owning the property in question, the ŘSD transaction has virtually no effect on the transaction,” said Samková.
This is also assumed by state organizations. “Given that we have a lease agreement, we do not anticipate any changes,” said ŘSD spokesman Jan Studecký.
Passerinvest Group is a Czech construction and investment company. It was founded in 1991 by businessman Radim Passer. The company’s most important projects include BB Centrum in Prague’s Brumlovka or the Nové Roztyly project, which is being prepared, which in the future envisages the construction of residential and administrative premises in the area of the former Interlov slaughterhouse. Last year, the company achieved a profit of CZK 26 million.
