Pathmark Transportation inks lease deal in Groveland, FL

Pathmark Transportation has signed a new lease with the owners of the former Circuit City distribution center in Groveland Fl. Located at 19925 Independence Boulevard, the new lease covers 144,000 square feet of industrial space in the 706,560 square-foot distribution complex. Colorado-based Real Capital Solutions bought the distribution complex for an undisclosed price from Magnolia Partners Ltd. in mid-2015. CBRE’s Monica Perez Wonus and Murphy represented owner Real Capital Solutions, in the lease. Pathmark was represented by Cameron Maness of Transwestern.

“This lease is another example of the increased demand for industrial space in Central Florida,” said CBRE Senior Vice President David Murphy. “With industrial space being leased up at a record pace, it is going to be increasingly difficult to find suitable space for the growing list of tenants trying to establish a location in Orlando. Larger industrial requirements in Central Florida over 100,000 square feet are ubiquitous in this current market.”
