Patria Residenční Fond I buys four RSBC buildings

24 April 2018

The closed fund Patria Residenční Fond I has acquired four primarily residential properties in Brno and Pilsen from the RSBC portfolio. The fund is managed by Patria investiční společnost. The quartet of buildings offer more than 13,000 sqm of leasable area and are currently filled with over 130 tenants.

“The portfolio is made up in part of modern buildings as well as historic buildings that have been reconstructed to a high level, all located in the center of town or in the vicinity. They benefit from a high level of stable tenants of more than 90 percent. In the future, we can expect a rise in the portfolio’s value given the high demand for renting residential properties. We’re confirming this trend as we negotiate new leases or renegotiated the existing ones,” said Nina Kozáková, a member of the board at Patria and in charge of investment and asset management.

“There was exceptional interest in Patria Residenční Fond I from clients of ČSOB’s private banking and Wealth Office,” added Pavel Tichý, chairman of the board at Patria investiční společnosti. “The fund has become an ideal solution for qualified investors who are attracted to investments into real estate assets wth a high potential for retaining value in the long-term while targeting higher yelds than our clients are accustomed to with financial assets.” CMS Cameron McKenna represented the buyer in the transaction.
