Pavel Sovička, Managing Director at Panattoni Europe, will be speaking at CEDES 2019 in Bratislava on Sept 12 at the Sheraton Hotel. He’ll be taking part in the Logistics Centers Potential panel that will be discussing how the industry is changing to adapt to the new supply chain needs of manufacturers and the rapid growth of e-commerce. The panel is part of a full day of interactive discussions with top market professionals that make up the 15th annual CEDES property conference.
Panattoni Europe is expanding its activity in Slovakia, announcing recently that it had begun construction of a new industrial park near Košice Airport. The tobacco products distributor GGT has become the first tenant at the new facility and is expected to move in by the end of the year. Sovička said that investor and end user demand for space in Košice is the result of a wide-ranging transformation of the city which began in 2013.
“Košice has great potential, not only thanks to the good road infrastructure but also because there is skilled workforce available in the area and the companies can benefit from cooperation with the local university,” he said.
