PBP bank targeting mid-size businesses

27 March 2012

With four branches already operating in Gdańsk, Poznań, Kraków and Łódź, the state-owned Polski Bank Przedsiębiorczości says it will continue with its expansion plan in 2012 with more openings in the coming months. Though a decision on the locations has not yet been made, the bank’s CEO, Maciej Stańczuk, says new corporate centres will be a key part of the bank’s new strategy. PBP will focus mid-size businesses to meet their increasing demand for financing. The bank is also planning to spur Poland’s local governments to enter into private-public partnerships.
