Democrat Liberal Party (PDL) leader Emil Boc and all members of the National Standing Bureau (BPN) of the party resigned on Thursday, with a new session of the Leading College set on Sunday, in order to establish the details of an extraordinary National Convention.
This means that the following days, the party will only have an interim leading structure until a new leadership is elected.
The move came at the end of a six-hour session of the party’s Leading College, in which various members criticized the party’s leadership.
